Hi hi, thanks for being here! My name is Monique. I am a Burmese-Australian content specialist with growing expertise in digital strategy, community development, social media management, and storytelling. My passion lies in creating high-quality content that celebrates the malleability of communication and my love for music, culture, and digital youth media.
I have a collaborative approach in my work, working efficiently in cross-department teams to produce and foster strong relationships between young people and brands. I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and am extremely dedicated to building communities by translating creative ideas into clear, accessible works.
A Media graduate from RMIT University, over the past four years I have excelled in community and content-centric roles. Having worked as a music editor, social media manager and digital producer in my past lives at Madman, VICE, and Department of The Future (Speaker TV), I have a deep knowledge for online publishing and can identify what drives engagement.
I am currently the Content & Social Media Manager at Collarts, where I produce all social media and digital content—including blogs, weekly newsletters, videos, photos, memes and more—for a Gen-Z demographic under tight deadlines. With creativity at the heart of what I do, I also freelance as a music and culture writer, and have been published in VICE, i-D, Noisey, Gusher Magazine, Madman, LISTEN and LNWY to name a few.
In short: I really love fostering digtial communities and publishing branded content. I'm also 100 per cent a dog person.
